Political Cartoon: “People Love People” by Iranian American Cartoonist and Artist Kaveh Adel
In solidarity with the peace movement all around the world especially the recent Facebook campaign by Israel-Loves-Iran initiative as well as the Love and Pace campaign, I offer my own take on this idea:
PEOPLE LOVE PEOPLE
Politicians, not so much.
If people are allowed to have open dialogue and most politicians (not all), who barely qualify as people, are left out– our world would be war free!
Politics moons humanity, degrades compassion.
I have seen and heard words spoken by a politician carry more weight. Why?
Why would the words of a child, a mother, a brother, or a grand mother not carry more meaning? More weight, more power?
A true grass roots movement MOVES all the people in the world.
No single leader, no single country, no single religion, no single land.
Only one idea: peace.
Only one emotion: love.
