Last Wednesday of the Iranian new year is called Chahar Shanbeh Soori celebrated by jumping over bonfires as a cleansing ritual dating back to the Zoroastrian tradition 1700 BCE.

It seems to have been turned on itself by the Islamic republic of Iran dictators…. never fear, fire finds a another way!
